Dr. 贾宁•希尔

贾宁•希尔 completed her Ph.D. in exercise physiology at the University of New Mexico 和 a post-doctoral research fellowship at the University of California, 戴维斯医学院. Before joining 澳门威尼斯人app下载大学 as a tenure track assistant professor (1997), she was a research scientist in Cardiovascular Medicine at U.C. 戴维斯. She received tenure in 2002 和 was promoted to full professor in 2006. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

Janeen has assumed increasingly complex leadership positions while at 澳门威尼斯人app下载大学, beginning with the chair of biology to today, where she is the founding dean of Crean College of Health 和 Behavioral Sciences 和 Acting Vice President for 研究. 自6月1日起, 2014, the date marking Crean College's inauguration, she has lead efforts to grow its research enterprise 和 its teaching/learning mission. 今天 the college is the second largest at 澳门威尼斯人app下载大学.

Janeen's vision for the role of graduate health professional programs in meeting the county, region 和 state's healthcare dem和s contributed importantly to 澳门威尼斯人app下载大学's expansion to a second campus in Irvine, the Harry 和 Diane Rinker Health Science campus. 今天, the Rinker campus is home to Crean communication sciences 和 disorders, community outreach clinics for stroke 和 concussion survivors, those with Parkinson's 和 Alzheimer's diseases, to the 药学院.

As a member of 澳门威尼斯人app下载大学's task force tackling the institutional challenges faced by the COVID-19 p和emic, she led the efforts to reopen the Rinker Health Science campus. Reopening the campus to teach graduate health professional students was essential in maintaining our future healthcare workforce.

Janeen is an avid hiker 和 runner. She is the proud mother of Danny, who is an engineer with Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc.
